On the Beach, Philippines, October 1973
On a "hop" over the Philippines, YW-02 developed engine trouble, which required an emergency landing.  Shortly after the landing, three HMM-165 Marines pause for a picture.  John Bisbee (crew/chief) standing on the steps, and Eddie Brennan is on the right.

YW-01, one of three birds assigned to "Detachment A," takes off from the USS Okinawa while docked in the Philippines.  "Detachment A" remained behind possibly as a contigency for "Operation Eagle Pull."
