  Before HMM-165's helicopters and personnel fully deployed to Vietnam, the Squadron's "advanced group" were put to work in crewing H-34s.
To the right is a load of walking wounded.  Above, a convoy snaking through "downtown" Quang Ngi.  The H34s were providing aerial cover.
